Dark Florentina

Makes 30 of Monica’s Florentine Bites


  • 300g dark chocolate
  • 90g cornflakes
  • 90g raisins
  • 190g flaked almonds
  • 180g glace cherries
  • 90g dried cranberries
  • 397g condensed milk



  1. Melt the chocolate using a double boiler. Line a 36x25cm tin with baking paper
  2. Spread the melted chocolate over the base of the tine, cool and chill until hard
  3. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees C. Mix together all the other ingredients and spread them over the chocolate. Bake for 15 minutes, until golden brown
  4. Let the florentines cool in the tin and then chill in the freezer until ready to eat. Break them into pieces when hard to serve
